This brand aims to help raise awareness around the decreasing population of Māui dolphins. These are a species that can only be found in New Zealand/Aotearoa.
For the first half of this project, I used infographics parid with witty headings to highlight some hard-hitting stats surrounding this critically endangered dolphin.
To help spread more awareness about these dolphins, we created an RTD company intended to be eye-catching and educational. Taking the key information from these posters, information that you are able to take in with one glance.
Why RTDs? With a big drinking culture here in New Zealand/Aotearoa what better way to get information out to the general public than through something we all participate in?
We set about creating a brand that you would be helping make a difference. Putting things in place like 10 cents from each box purchased went towards protecting the habitat of these beautiful dolphins.
We used catchy tag lines to help name each drink. While they are catchy they are also a piece of information, really playing into quick information at just a glance. Using a bright colour palette allowed us to show the public that these dolphins are bright, colourful and playful fun creates that deserve to be saved.
